How do i become a monthly donor?
To make a recurring monthly gift to Skateistan, please visit www.skateistan.org/donate and under the drop-down menu “frequency” select “monthly”. Select your currency, the amount you would like to donate each month, and then provide your personal and payment details. After you click the “donate” button at the bottom of the page you will be redirected to a donation confirmation page. You will also receive a receipt by email within 15 minutes.

Can i make a donation in a currency not shown on the online form?

For online donations made by credit card, we can only accept the currencies listed, i.e. US Dollars (USD), euro (EUR). Limiting the number of currencies for credit card donations helps us reduce administration costs.
For donations by bank transfer, however, a wider range of currencies are available. For more information please read the “What are all of the different ways I can donate to Skateistan?” section.

Which credit card can i use?
 If you are making your donation in US dollars, we accept payments from MasterCard, VISA, Discover, and American Express. If you are donating in Euro, we except payments from MasterCard and Visa.

Can i make a donation without giving personal details?
 No, but Skateistan takes great care to protect the personal data of its donors (see our Privacy policy). Any personal data we record is kept confidential. We will not pass it on to anyone for commercial purposes.

I gave my credit card number but the system did not accept my payment, why?
It could be that the credit card is invalid or has expired. Please check with your card issuer or bank.

How can i be certain that the system has accepted my payment?
Once your payment has been completed you will be redirected to a payment confirmation pay. If you have given a valid e-mail address, you will receive an e-mail acknowledging your donation about 15 minutes later. If you do not receive a confirmation e-mail, you can contact Erika at erika@skateistan.org to request acknowledgement of your donation.
